Incident with a fast train along the Sub-Balkan line

This morning at about 08:50 between Makotsevo and Dolno Kamartsi the first three wheelsets of the locomotive of a fast train from Sofia to Bourgas derailed at the moment when the train was entering a tunnel. No passengers or railway employees were contused. The national railway operator provided another locomotive, which hauled the passenger coaches via Kazichene and Plovdiv to Karlovo and Bourgas.
The reasons for the incidents are being investigated. It should be pointed out that yesterday the same locomotive underwent regular technical check-up and it was established that the machine is in full technical order.
