Due to excessive flooding in Turkey international trains to Istanbul are temporarily cancelled

Due to continuing torrential rains in Turkey and the resulting excessive flooding, the operation of international trains “Balkan Express” between Sofia and Istanbul is temporarily cancelled.
The two trains, which do not operate between Bulgaria and Turkey, are the international train No 491, which departs from Sofia at 19:10 hrs., as well as the international train ¹ 492, which normally departs from Istanbul at 22:00 hrs.
