Freight train incident between Mirkovo and Bunovo

At 11:30 when a freight train was pulling out of a tunnel in the railway section between Mirkovo and Bunovo, seven wagons derailed. The freight composition consisted of 20 wagons altogether. Six of the derailed wagons were loaded with aluminum castings and the seventh wagon was a tank-wagon, transporting diesel fuel. According to the initial information, there is no fuel leakage from the tank wagon. Four of the derailed wagons, as well as the remaining twelve wagons from the composition, are inside the tunnel.

Incident with a freight train between Koprivshtitsa and Anton

Early this morning at about 00:45 one of the wagons of a freight train derailed between Koprivshtitsa and Anton. No casualties are reported. Transport police was informed about the accident and is conducting an investigation jointly with railway experts.
