With regard to come publications in the media, “Bulgarian State Railways” EAD would like to make the following
CLARIFICATION
An experimental transportation of bales by train was performed on 25th October 2006. The aim of the experiment was to test how efficient is the scheme for bale positioning and fastening in a railway wagon.
The experiment was carried out only once. The route of the freight train was from Kremikovtsi station to Kurilo and back.
The experimental freight train consisted of two platform wagons, each loaded with 54 bales, positioned in two rows and fastened with special tape.
During the operation of the two freight wagons along the above-said route, there was no disarrangement of the bales in the wagons. This gives sufficient grounds to pronounce the experiment successful.
