BDZ EAD put in operation new coaches in four more trains

On 25th September the afternoon express train “Diana” from Sofia to Yambol, which departs from Sofia Central Station at 16:30, will travel with a new composition, including the newly-delivered German Intercity coaches. As of 26th September the other express train “Diana” from Yambol to Sofia, which departs from Yambol at 15:00, will also travel with the new coaches. The composition of the two express trains “Diana” also includes a specialized coach for disabled passengers and a buffet-car.
“Bulgarian State Railways” EAD will replace with new second-class coaches from Germany the current composition of two fast trains between Sofia and Lom as well. On 26th September the fast train No 7631 (Sofia –Lom) will depart from Sofia Central Station at 16:15 with the new composition, and as of 27th September the same new composition will run as fast train ¹ 7630 (Lom - Sofia), which departs from Lom at 05:30. The findings from the marketing studies of “Bulgarian State Railways” EAD show that more passengers travel with these two trains, therefore on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays the composition of these trains will include one additional coach of the same type.

“Bulgarian State Railways” EAD remind their customers that as of 5th September the composition of the express trains “Chaika” ( Sofia – Bourgas – Sofia) includes newly-delivered German Intercity coaches as well.
