Passenger without a ticket hit a ticket-collector

Yesterday, 30th November, in the afternoon fast train from Sofia to Vidin a passenger without a ticket hit the ticket-collector, Detelin Pekov. In result of the blow were damaged the vocal cords of the railway employee as well as his swallowing function.
During routine ticket check, the railway employee noticed that three passengers had tickets for a shorter route, i.e. from Sofia to Svoge. At Svoge station Detelin Pekov asked the passengers to either get off the train or buy tickets for the actual duration of their journey, but the three men continued travelling without any valid travel documents. The ticket-collector asked the chief of train for assistance and the three passengers were made to get off at the next stop – Lakatnik. Getting off the train, one of the three men hit the conductor in the throat.
The railway employee was taken to hospital.
