Three more trains were attacked with stones last night

Yesterday, 20th November 2006, three passenger trains were attacked with stones in different regions of the country. In result of the ill-intentioned incidents were broken three windows and a door glass-pane. No passengers or personnel of „Bulgarian State Railways“ EAD were injured.
The first attack was against a reigonal train from Sofia to Septemvri at about 18:43 in the section between Poduene and Iskar. Two windows of passenger coaches were broken. Half an hour later, another regional train from Varna to Karnobat became the target for a stone attack in the vicinity of Velichkovo station. Much later in the night, at 22:05 stones were thrown against a regional train from Sofia to Pernik in the section between Pernik Marshalling Yard and Pernik station. This is the sixth such incident in this particular line section.
In order to repair the damages, incurred in result of these attacks, the particular coaches will be out of operation for at least one week.
